Noah has founded, launched and grown dozens of high technology products and companies in 20 years of entrepreneurship and management of innovation. Noah most recently directed the enterprise product line for Google's geospatial products, Google Earth and Google Maps. Prior to Google, Noah managed the Marketing Strategy and Corporate Development functions at Keyhole, Inc., the venture capital backed company that created the first Web-hosted digital earth model and was acquired by Google in 2004. Prior to Keyhole, Noah helped establish the Internet loyalty rewards marketplace as a co-founder of MyPoints.com, the largest Internet loyalty program with over 6 million active members, where he led product management and business development functions from the company's inception through an initial public offering and subsequent acquisition by United Airlines. Prior to MyPoints, Noah was based in Tokyo where he managed overseas sales and marketing for the OEM channel of Panasonic’s graphics communications equipment subsidiary in Japan. In other roles, he was chairman of the management board of the University of California, Berkeley's campus bookstore, a $17 million retail operation, and also held product management and operations management roles at IBM/Rational (Pure Atria) and Oracle. As an angel investor prior to forming Javelin Venture Partners, Noah has supported over a dozen start-ups including Keyhole (Google), Cantametrix (Gracenote), Amae Software (Verint), Nuvon, Ritter Natural Sciences, Emdigo, Magnacash (Yaga), and i-mint India. Noah holds M.B.A. and B.A. Economics degrees, as well as certificates in Management of Technology and Global Management from University of California – Berkeley and is a recipient of the United States Air Force Fellowship for New Technology in Japan.

One of the pioneers of Internet commerce, Jed has spent his 20-year career developing, advising and investing in early stage technology ventures. Prior to joining Javelin Venture Partners, Jed was a Managing Director of DFJ Gotham Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York. Jed also served on the Technology, Telecom & Media advisory group for President Barack Obama's campaign. Prior to DFJ Gotham, Jed was the COO of Yamcon, the developer of the highly acclaimed "SkyScout", one of the best selling astronomy products of all time. Prior to Yamcon, Jed was the COO and Founder of Rent Net, the Internet's first rental and relocation guide. Rent Net achieved 95% market penetration, launching disruptive technology solutions that revolutionized the way real estate related advertising was done, and became one of the first profitable Internet companies. It was acquired by Cendant, and three years later, Jed used its infrastructure as the starting point for the formation of Move.com, one of the Internet's largest real estate sites. Move.com grew to 360 employees and was acquired by Homestore (NASDAQ: MOVE) for over $900 million. Jed holds a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA and an M.B.A. from The Haas School of Business at the University of California – Berkeley, where he was awarded the Price Fellowship from the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, of which he is currently on the advisory board.

At Javelin, Alex focuses on consumer and mobile web, social media, big data analytics and business intelligence, consumer healthcare, and gaming. He led Javelin's investments in Thumbtack, WellnessFX and Prismatic, and is active on the boards of Skytree, PowerCloud, and AppFirst. Prior to joining Javelin, Alex was a Principal at DFJ Aurora, one of the first Western ventures fund focused on high tech investments in Russia and Eastern Europe. In addition to helping lead fund formation and fundraising, Alex worked with portfolio companies in the enterprise software, consumer web services, digital media, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and e-commerce domains. Prior to DFJ Aurora, Alex was the first employee and Director of Business Development at ooma, a venture-backed company in the consumer electronics, VoIP (voice over IP) space, where he led his company's initial product roll out, customer acquisition and retail distribution strategy. Alex was also co-founder of Say-Hey-Hey.com, one of the web's first free video dating sites, where he was in charge of all product development, fundraising, and business development efforts. Alex also serves as a key advisor to several Silicon Valley early stage start-ups, including Sifteo and PointSourcePower, as well as the Global Technology Symposium - the premier investor conference on emerging markets.
Alex holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was co-President of the Venture Capital Club, a leader of a Global Study Trip, and a Board Fellow. He also holds a B.S. in Management Science and Engineering, a B.A. in International Relations, and an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford. During his time at Stanford, Alex was a Mayfield Fellow and led major technology centered research projects at General Motors and IBM for Stanford's Center for Work, Technology, and Organization.
Richard joined the Javelin team in 2009. At Javelin, he has worked on over 20 early stage investments and is actively involved with BoostCTR, Cyngergen, Netpulse, Rixty, and Yap.tv. Previously, he worked for KPMG LLP as a Senior Associate in the Economic & Valuation Services Group, where he specialized in valuing private companies, illiquid equities, and intangible assets, as well as consulted on accounting and taxation implications of mergers and acquisitions activity. Clients included Delphi Automotive, Navteq, Netjets, The Principal Group, Washington Mutual, and many others. Before that he was in the Financial Services Audit group, where he worked with several multi-billion dollar global insurance companies in financial audits and Sarbanes-Oxley internal control compliance. Richard graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, majoring in both Accountancy and Mathematics and received the Accountancy Excellence Scholarship Award. He holds an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California - Berkeley, where he chaired the UC Berkeley Business Plan Competition, was Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper, and received the Gloria W. Appel Award for Outstanding Leadership in Entrepreneurship. Richard holds a CPA certificate from Illinois.
Sarah's experience as a legal administrator has prepared her well for the early stage venture capital environment. With experience at international law firm, Davis Wright Tremaine, as well as operations roles at Voicepro and the Vallejo Police Department, Sarah has never faced a challenging task she couldn’t complete. She also adores acting, singing, and promoting general mayhem wherever possible, but her main passions are choreography, dance and children's entertainment. Her spare time is spent performing with the Stark Ravens Historical Players, the Art Deco Society's Deco Belles and the Piccolo Puppet Players.
Sandy joined the Javelin team in August 2011. Prior to that Sandy served as the Investor Relations Manager of Scion Capital LLC, a hedge fund that invested globally. Before joining Scion, Sandy served for six years as the Controller/Investor Relations Manager of Fort Point Capital Management LLC, a SEC-registered investment advisor focused on U.S. equities. Additionally, she has experience working at Smith Barney Asset Management and Bay View Capital where she performed numerous asset management roles and performed financial consulting for Colchis Capital Management LLC and Enable Capital Management LLC. She obtained her B.S. in Finance from Golden Gate University and attended University of San Francisco’s McLaren Graduate School of Business and Management. Sandy has been in the alternative investment industry since 2001 and the investment management industry since 1996.
